United Way and CFC Giving at Work

United Way and Combined Federal Campaign Giving at Work goes to over 150 agencies including Head Start of Shawnee Mission. Your United Way and Combined Federal Campaign gift helps Head Start of Shawnee Mission and other agencies provide food, shelter, and supportive services for the needy in our community.
Please help the United Way help Head Start of Shawnee Mission and 150 other agencies by making a generous United Way gift.
Crayon Box Tours

We offer free, one-hour tours of our program to increase community awareness about Head Start of Shawnee Mission. Visitors will get to see our terrific kids getting off the bus, ready to greet their day, and see what they eat for breakfast (family style β¦ itβs educational entertainment!). Youβll learn about our programs and the comprehensive services we offer our childrenΒ and their families. These tours have been very successful in spreading the word about what weβre doing over here at 8155 Santa Fe Drive. Since starting the Crayon Box Tours in 2007, over 734 people have walked our halls, heard our story and met our kids. Our hope is that those who visit us will share what theyβve learned on the tour with friends and colleagues. You never know when someone might need our services.

Here’s a new easy way to raise money for Head Start of Shawnee Mission. Just start using Yahoo! powered GoodSearch.com as your search engine and they’ll donate about a penny to your favorite cause every time you do a search!
In addition, do all of your shopping through their online shopping mall, GoodShop.com, where you can shop at more than 2,000 top online retailers and a percentage of your purchases will go to this non-profit organization. You pay the same price as you normally would, but a donation goes to your cause!
